The location is a major plus, being close to Queen Street and central attractions like Aotea Square and the Sky Tower. The room was clean and had ample tea and coffee facilities. The shower rooms had lockable doors. However, the shared bathroom setup wasn’t the best, and it would have been nice to have a proper communal eating area—there was only a microwave and kettle available. Overall, I found it to be a decent stay for a group looking for good value and comfort while exploring the area.

The lobby has a semi-nice atmosphere.
The elevator felt like a relic from the past, not reliable at all. My room was stifling hot, and the only options were to tolerate street noise by leaving the window open or endure a loud fan. Plus, customer service was curt, adding to the already frustrating experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kiwi International Hotel. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a fan provided for the warm weather, ensuring a lovely night's rest. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit.
Shower water pressure was low.

missingWrote a review on Oct 08maintenance noise
Carpet corners lifting create trip hazards, and a noticeable musty odor in the room detracts from comfort. Lack of air conditioning or effective heating limits climate control, while street noise and thin walls make for a restless night with disturbances from nearby conversations and door slams.

Our family had a great time staying at Kiwi International! The room was clean and had a comfortable queen bed, ensuring everyone had a good night's sleep. The prices were reasonable, and the location was perfect for exploring Auckland. We appreciated the hospitality of the staff, and the breakfast options were quite generous!
The parking fees were a bit surprising.

Just a great match for a flash stay in Auckland with outstanding value for money. The luggage room was super convenient for stashing my bags after checkout while I explored. If you prefer a quieter experience, ask for a room away from the street noise.

The location is a major plus, as it's a short walk to downtown amenities and eateries. Having a desk and kettle in the room was quite convenient. However, street noise and banging doors disrupted sleep, and the shared facilities, while generally clean, lacked proper communal dining setups. A cozy atmosphere was marred by the lack of air conditioning, making the room uncomfortably warm at times.

Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast
I appreciated the kindness of the 24-hour reception staff and the efficient lift for my heavy luggage. The breakfast options were generous and satisfying. Stay within walking distance of attractions and don’t miss the buffet, it’s a great way to start your day. Consider a room away from the street for quieter nights.

The room setup worked well for us, it had enough space for both of us. Cleanliness was on point, definitely appreciated having a neat room. Quick walk to K'rd for delicious food, too. WiFi was reliable throughout our stay, helped us plan our days easily. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay, which meant no onsite dining options available. The elevator felt cramped at times, especially coming back from outings with luggage. Noise levels fluctuated, as we heard some activities outside late at night but it was manageable. Front desk interactions were hit or miss, we had to remind them about some requests.

Budget travelers decent choice
The shared facilities were clean, and I found it quite cozy during my stay. The airport bus stop is just opposite the place, so getting around was super easy.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.
